I am Kathy of KatsCakeKreations.I am a Cake Artist and My passion is taking your ideas for a cake and turning it into a work of art for a centerpiece for your party or a unique cake for your special wedding day that people will always remember. I love doing cakes and trying to make everything from scratch and edible. I do a lot of practicing. I am a self taught baker/decorator. My mom taught me to bake when I was very young . She took some Wilton Cake Decorating classes and taught me to decorate my first cake at the age of 8. It's really an addiction once you start it and it gets in your heart. The best part of it is making people happy when they get excited over your works of art.

All of my baking is from scratch recipes and use the best ingredients. I make all baked goods from scratch and I make my own modeling chocolate and fondant when I do happen to use it. I try not to use toys on the cakes because I do love to mold things but there are times when the customer has something that is not edible that they want pl

My Inspiration
My Inspiration comes from seeing my customers when they pick up their cakes and they laugh or giggle or scream a little or even cry. When I know that they are pleased with their cake it pushes me to learn more to be able to make it even better the next time. Then, when customers send me pictures of them enjoying their art... that is even better!
